The morning routine : As I wash my face,I see myself in the mirror. I am aware of myself. The face, the eyes and my unsettling hair. The image is not me ,and still I know it's me .
Can I cognize my Being without relying only on objective perception?
Conciousness is awareness of your body and your environment;self awareness is recognition of that conciousness. Neurologist Vilayanur Ramchandran says, 'Self-awareness is simply using mirror neurons for "looking at myself as if someone else is looking at me".
But a doubt that has been toiling me is that in Quantum physics a system exists in a superposition- that is in all possible states -until an observer observes it in one specific state. Could that mean that until I observe myself I would be in a superposition, does the observation of my tangible form reduce the impersonal conciousness into a locus that I believe to be me? 'I' may not necessarily be 'Me' until the act of observation reduces 'I' to 'Me'. 'ME' often adulterates with 'I' with various kinds of complexes, biases, conditioning and limitations. SELF REALIZATION may just be the 'I' discarding the image of 'Me reverting to a fundamental state of Quantum Superposition....make sure you are observing the correct 'I',unfortunately there is no way to check out ...observe wisely
